The first real week of graphics and the first day of our lives. From what I have heard and so far studied in class we are mainly focusing on typography and communications, how we can communicate with our audience, do we need to include words in our work or will the visuals of the image speak to its audience. "A manifesto usually accepts a previously published opinion or public consensus and/or promotes a new idea with prescriptive notions for carrying out changes the author believes should be made. It often is political or artistic in nature, but may present an individual's life stance. Manifestos relating to religious belief are generally referred to as creed".

But one of them stood out to me and that was the apple advert...something about the "chicken fat" was catchy it made this ad much more memorable to me. The whole concept was just so cool and since we now live in an age where keeping fit is a motive for majority of the public, apple knew who they were targeting and got their point across.

For our first assignment we had to examine the origins of our family and their stories and cultural history. Being Nigerian you are exposed to all sorts of stories and you know how different tribes do or believe in different things your own tribe does, however we have more in common than we know.
One thing i knew for sure is that every Nigerian woman has worn a "Gele" a traditonal head tie worn to special events such as weddings or birthdays.
