week 2

Continuing with the manifesto project in the second part of the project we had to focus on something that was very personal to us and use it to create a second manifesto. I chose to base my manifesto about, self belief and confidence.  I wanted to think of a new way of presenting my work in a way I have not tried out before. Taking inspiration from the examples we were given in class like the apple commercial it was based around the iPhone healthcare app to keep you fit, It included some elements of graphics not from the video directly but it included graphics in the iPhone itself.

So to try and make my own version i scrapped the original idea of making a simple manifesto and make one by video taking inspiration from apple about keeping fit. The thing that I ended up changing was the theme and message that the typography in my video will manifest and communicate with an audience, if there was one thing i learnt a manifesto does not have to include a ton load of writing or long sentences, it could simply be a video or just meaningful words but they must communicate the point you are trying to get out to the audience one way or another.

iPhone 5 inspiration.

My outcome did not come out the way i wanted it to because i wanted it to be set at a brighter time of day allowing me to get more shots of my main subject. But seeing as it got dark really early I had no choice but to make do with what I had.

However i am happy that i was able to put this together, it's not well put together but i was able to make it work. I tried to explore and play with different fonts and typefaces because the original only had one font throughout. So using different fonts made my outcome just that bit more interesting and visual.
