So this week we have two!!!! projects due in THREE DAYS?????

In one day we had around 4-6 lecturers who came to our class and basically tried to sell their course to us. We were exposed to motion graphics, graphic illustration, digital design and advertising, coding, web design and product design. To be honest all the briefs that were given to us were all pretty interesting and challenging because most of the things that was required from us were things we've never touched or even heard about, for example the xtenstio website that allows you to make a website front cover that explains what your company is about, almost like a interactive leaflet.

I started with the most easiest brief to get one out of the way and that was the graphics brief to create a poster, a poster about anything relating to the university body. It can be serious, humorous, anything we wanted it to be about. I wanted to raise the awarness that level 4 as nice as it is, it is not big enough to hold the entire university when it is lunch time, it does get very crowded especially because we are not allowed to eat on any other floor... ant the ground floor odes not count. When it is raining nobody wants to stay outside, we all want to be inside and dry, hence why i made this. I wanted it to look like this because not all the words are able to fit on the poster forcing the words to be cut off on the sides of the paper, its too small for everything to fit. I wanted to go for the minimalist look because to me personally i don't like posters that have a lot going on because it takes me a while to actually understand the poster, unless its something i have seen around a lot.

The other project i decided to do was the web design brief. For this brief we were asked to make an app that will be beneficial to students ...or just on anything we are interested in. My app "Colab" was an app created to allow creative people to connect on a platform where they can collaborate and share ideas with one another.
The design idea of the logo came from the old uber logo which contained the small lines which looked like networking lines. So linking to my idea i used a font that hand lines on each letter which kind of looks like network lines which supports the idea of users networking with one another.
