Crits Crits Crits

Had another crit today to see how how are work is beginning to come along. We were given a sheet of paper to fill out because instead of looking at our own work we were marking each others work. It's different having another student mark your work rather than the tutor. I guess in a sense its helpful because being in the same class we can easily just give one another advice and exchange ideas. Its gives me an idea of what they would like to see. My classmate Kate was taking a look at my sketchbook. She made everything clear to me. She saw that I had a lot of in depth research into advertisments and how i annotate very clearly. She even gave me advice on areas that were lacking, she suggested i look into books and magazines and see how campaigns/brands are presented. I should also look into a lot of shoe brands for inspirations and give my opinions on how i feel about them. And lastly really consider making the advert because i could really take a lot of inspirations from existing adverts. It was quite a lot to take in, just thinking about how much more research I had to do and ideas behind my outcomes because i cannot just make a video for the sake of it, I got to really sit down and understand what im trying to get across to my audience.
