Info Graphics

For the info graphics project I went with the same approach as i did with the zine project, I came to the realisation that planning and sketching does help and it helps to broaden my mind and make it much more open for ideas.

I wanted to make an infographic statistics poster about Arsenal. The initial idea was to compare football teams based on the cost of their players and the amount of trophies they have as a collective.
So i searched on google looking for statistics about Arsenal who's club worth is £416.93m and Leicester's who's club is worth £183.18m. To begin with I was going to make a simple poster comparing both clubs but i felt that there was more i could do.

This brought me to look for historic moments for arsenal almost like a Guinness book of records but compressed into a poster. For example to the right i made a chart containing the players with the most hatricks in the history of Arsenal. I included this as i thought it would be a good example of representation.

Here are some sketches of the layout i was aiming to go for. To make it less poster like i wanted it to be a fold out filled with statistic and facts but it didn't really go down that road as it was taking to much time. I made sure i followed a simple colour scheme with a dominating colour of red along with white black and grey.
