Out and about

So today I had to go to JD Sports in Oxford Street to return a pair of trousers i bought there last week and on my way up the stair I saw and image of Paul Pogba and the image was from the campaign with Stormzy "first never follows" I really liked the concept of this poster because it stands out especially to football/Manchester United fans because the poster did not need a description to go along with it because people know that Pogba is the prodigal son. In terms of colour I think the pink is controversial because "Pink is not considered a masculine colour" but this poster just slaps society in the face. The use of the football as a prop is a good way to represent the sport aswell.

After my time in JD I went to niketown to see what they had to offer because everytime I go in there, there is always something new, wether it be the theme or the installations on the ground floor and I was definitely not wrong. Nike had launched a new campaign called "Kiss my airs" which was a way to celebrate the anniversary of Nike and the new released nike shoes also.

This was the installation that was on the ground floor showing  the evolution of nike and their shoes promoting what they have accomplished and the new releases. I really liked the whole ball looking like bubbles as they float in the air. I don't know why but the bubbles reminded me of the bubbles in the air max shoes.

Looking at all of these campaigns it made me realise how graphic campaign ads are, they are full of life and always aimed at the audience. There is always something to catch your attention. With brnads like adidas and nike endorsements play a big role, because if people see their their idol, for example pogba for adidas people who love football, are religious about it and support manchester united will be attracted to what he is wearing. Its all about the the delivery of what you are trying to pomote which is what i'm taking away today.
