Photoshop!

Finally I can use photoshop properly! To start of I made templates to work with to move around later on. Again the vision of the zine is to look clean and minimal, easy on the eyes and vibrant. Looking on Be-hance or pinterest i'll just scroll down until i see something I like and try to incorporate it into my work... I should've taken not of some of  these example but i wasn't thinking of that at the time.

To the left is one of the concepts i started to use. To challenge convention i flipped the cover-lines 45 Degrees clockwise. Its still legible and aesthetic looking at the same time.

To the right i started to incorporate some of the images I had taken to use in my zine to see what a difference it could make and ask myself questions, is it too heavy,? is it too dark? what can i change? Both these images on each side are the same, all i did was switch the position of the images I asked my sisters and brother what they preferred and they picked the one on the left and when i asked why they gave simps replies like "I don't know" or " It just looks better. But something they agree on on both was the negative space around the image, it reminds them of professional fashion magazines apparently. So I decided to keep the idea have having negative space at the front of my mind because i likes it a lot and others did as well. I found it much easier to make a layout one after the other they just looked better than before, I learned that I can't be afraid to move things around because its when you don't expect it the most that you start producing outcomes like this one here.
